WHAT IS THE JESUS IN MY HEART?
One weekend I gave a testimony in front of my parish at all three masses. I had recently gotten back from a youth conference, and the purpose of the testimony was to thank our donors and share the story of the trip.

After my testimony at the Sunday morning mass, our priest said something that has always stuck with me. He said that Mother Theresa once told his teacher in seminary that "evangelization is putting a little bit of the Jesus in my heart into your heart."That's exactly what I felt I've been doing, and it's what I am ultimately called to do. Nothing makes me happier.

The best part was that she was right. While I was at this conference, I would text my best friend (who is not religious at all) back home updates of how it was going, and she told be that she can sense my joy over the texts I was sending her, so much so that she ended up joining me at mass on occasion the next year.

We are all called to spread the Light of the world, Jesus Christ. The Jesus that is in our hearts is infinite with an abundance of grace, so what not share some with those who need it?

Hi, my name is Abigail Woodley, and I am the founder of The Jesus in My Heart. I have been blessed endlessly over the years with opportunities to grow deeper in my faith and share it with those who are not aware of the light of Christ.
​
I grew up as the kid who went to church on Sundays because I was told, and attended by church class once a week. That was it. Very rarely did we pray as a family at home, or attend other church events. It wasn't until I attended the National Catholic Youth Conference in 2021 that I grew to realize how powerful my faith was, not just in how it changed me, but how it changed others.
​
Through growing and sharing my faith these past few years, I have had the honor of being a confirmation sponsor to a close friend, who insists I was the one who brought him to God. My best friend of seven years decided that she wanted to become Catholic after being exposed to my joy and passion for my church, and I have never been happier.

I created The Jesus in My Heart with the intention of sharing my story, and others, to share the love of God, so thank you for clicking.
